I love this time of the year. It gets warmer; the trees grow back their leaves; the garden starts to grow all kind of vegetables, herbs, and fruit plants; the wildlife gets ready for preparing the nurseries for their young ; and the girls can stay longer outside, because the sun sets much later.
Sara came home from school and walked straight into the backyard, where she found me working in the greenhouse. “Oh Mom, look! Dandelions!!!” After she put her backpack in her room, she came back to pick the dandelions and blow their seeds off the stems. But before Sara did that, she made a wish with each flower. I just enjoy the moments, when she still has so much fun with these flowers. Life is still so easy and innocent, right now.
After several cloud-covered and a rainy day, it was nice to see the Sun for a change. Unfortunately, the sky was still cloudy last night. So, we had no chance to see the “biggest” Moon of this year. After seeing the Lunar Eclipse last month, I’m not too sad about it either. This morning, the sky cleared up. And it also warmed up nicely during the day. I used this opportunity to capture photos of Spring slowly rolling into North Texas.
