First Signs of Autumn 2019

Texas Red Oak Leaf

Last night, we had two big storm lines coming through North Texas. The first line produced at least two tornadoes. When the tornado touched down, it left a 17-mile-path of destruction in North East Dallas, Richardson & Garland. About ten miles north of the tornado is our property. We had only one “casualty” from the storm: One of our Halloween tomb stones broke in the front yard. I also saw a few Texas Red Oak leaves blown in our yard. They are the first signs of  this Autumn season.

  1. Very scary! There are a lot of people without power, and many are without a home. It’s a mess down there. And it is only 10 miles away from our house. But up here, I had no idea until about 15 hours later, when I stumbled over it on the internet.
