Due to all this rain, there is a lot of moisture in the air this morning. And with the right temperatures, we’ve got the recipe for dense fog. It was so dense, I had to drive slow to get to Sara’s Elementary School. Sara said: “Wow, this is a lot of fog. I can’t barely see the school building from here.”
Fog is rare in this area, compared to where I grew up in Europe. In Germany it was foggy almost every day in October and November. And sometimes the fog was so dense, I couldn’t even see my hands in front of my face while walking to work. Driving in that “soup” was no fun either. And it was nerve wracking, when Kevin had to drive in this weather from our house to his post, approximately 15 miles away.
