Hiking At The Colony Shoreline Trail

I haven’t been at the Ridgepointe end of the Shoreline Trail for several months, now. Today, I decided to visit this part of the trail. It’s the time of year, when the wildflowers start to emerge, and the butterflies are dancing as couples in the wind. A turkey vulture soared over the meadow, in hope to find a rodent or a small bird for lunch. Frogs croaked at the shoreline of the pond, and red-eared slider turtles jumped in the water, when they saw me approaching their habitat. About a mile in, I decided to turn around and walk back again. It was a nice little photo walk, before I had to go and pick up Sara from school.
