2017, In The Garden

Blooming Salvia

I noticed the last couple of weeks, my sages are coming back from the Winter dormancy. Since the last few days they also begin to bloom. Sages are good drought resistant plants for this region in the US. They usually start to bloom in Spring, throughout Summer, into Autumn. The bees, butterflies and other insects love them, because they get nectar almost all year round. And the sages leave a nice fragrance in the yard.
